would love to know of some free camping spots from darwin to mataranka to kakadu and back to darwin, thankyou.

This page is a list of Top End Campsites you find some suitable amongst these http://www.australianexplorer......op_end.htm. We have camped in the area you are going to and we stayed at Daly Waters Pub, Mataranka near the thermal pool, Katherine in the National Park, Berry Springs and travelled to Darwin from there and Jabiru and we visited Litchfield didn’t stay, was very full.
