Vintage caravans are making a comeback in a big way, they used to be history, now they are being restored along with the old Holden and are back on our roads. Look out for them on your travels.
How times have changed with camping and travelling, I have doing a little research on camping, mainly i found plenty of info about Vintage caravans but I also found a road map that is considered to be a early version of a strip map. It is called a Roll a Road Map made with a roll of paper on a wooden frame and it is on display at the Powerhouse Museum.
Vintage caravans come in all shapes and sizes and are being sought by enthusiasts wishing to restore them back to their former glory with same amazing results, some of them being over 50 years old. Here some links to some interesting stories and photos.
